Natal Charts
A Natal Horoscope, one type of event chart based on when and where you were born, looks at the life potential and promotes self-empowerment by helping you understand not only your weaknesses and problem areas but the strengths and talents you were born with that can help you meet your challenges and opportunities today.
There are several approaches used such as, a standard or modern Natal, which uses the modern 8 planets and 2 luminaries: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Sun and Moon along with several of the asteroids like Chiron and Juno; a Magickal Natal chart with its focus on the balance of the 4 elements of earth, air, fire, and water as well as houses relating to the God and Goddess utilizing a mythological approach; a Medieval style Natal chart, which uses the 5 visible planets of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn with Sun and Moon, whole house aspects, and other related techniques. It is also possible to view the Natal chart from an entirely Goddess or entirely God oriented perspective, or other emphases like career or relationships.
Relationship Charts
Relationships can be looked at using several techniques. A composite chart combines two (or more) charts into one as a way of looking, not at the individuals but at the relationship itself. Another way to look at a relationship is to draw a chart for the time of a marriage, commitment ceremony, or other event like moving in together. A compatibility analysis compares individual charts to see the various types of interactions and energy flow between people. Composite charts and compatibility analyses can also be done for Groups, such as a family, club, committee or work team. This provides an indepth look at the group dynamics and how it operates.
A Look at the Future
Forecasting techniques, such as solar returns (a yearly birthday chart), progressions (an update chart), and transits (current planetary positions), are ways of looking ahead to the coming influences whether it be the coming month, year, or more and can be applied to any event chart and relational charts. A solar return is calculated for the return of the Sun to the exact degree it was in at your birth. This shows the trends and emphases of the coming year. Progressions show the development as your birth chart continues to evolve. And transits show how the current planetary positions are influencing your life through their energetic relationship.
Consultations
Consultations are by appointment only in person or by phone. Either by email or by phone we will have a brief discussion to determine what your interests are, what type of chart would be appropriate to meet your needs, any particular emphases or areas that you want to focus on, and to set up an appointment. In person appointments are available in either the Madison area of WI or Los Angeles, CA and are dependent on my travel schedule. All other consultations are by phone.
Payment must be in advance either by cash, check, or Paypal. The base rate for consultations is $65 per hour. Groups of three or more people require an additional $10 for each person after the first two (this covers the additional pre-consultation preparation time for the additional charts analyzed.)
